The Federal House Breakfast Experience

Guests enjoy a complimentary gourmet breakfast every morning from 8-10am. We always offer a creative menu inspired by the Seasons including a First Course starter that may include fresh local fruits or freshly baked breads and a beautifully executed and presented Main Course with fresh eggs. Some of our morning specialties include Sweet Potato Pancakes, Spinach Country Quiche, Ricotta Fruit Crepes, Shirred Eggs Mornay and Eggs Benedict a la Federal House. All breakfasts are accompanied by fresh juices and a selection of Green Mountain Coffee, Premium Teas and cold, clear water brought to your table straight from our mountain-spring fed well!

Dinners at the Federal House Inn

We offer delicious dinner selections to our guests by prior reservation for parties of six or more (72 hours notice, please) between 5:30 and 7:30 in the evening. The menu changes monthly and is a 3-course dinner pris-fixe ($35-45), offering both a vegetarian and a meat selection. Beverages are included. Special requests can be honored with advance notification. Call us for this month’s selections.

Special Events

We can accommodate up to 12-14 people (seated) for special dinners in our Common Room. We will help you design a creative menu that will have your guests talking about it for years to come! Call us to discuss the possibilities!

Extras

As a matter of course, you will always find our complimentary beverage bar available 24 hours a day! We also present you with an enticing snack between the hours of 4-6 as an accompaniment to a glass of wine, beer, soda or hot tea. In the evening after dinner, you can also find a dish of home baked cookies or brownies on the sideboard as a midnight snack! And, of course, there are those little chocolates on your pillow every night!

You can also now order a special treat including fresh flowers, champagne, Moonstruck Chocolates (absolutely the best!) or snack bags from the list found in your room at check-in. (There is an additional charge for these items.) Call us in advance for other special requests.
